The beginning track, “Peace Now” is an affirmative prayer and an invitation to walk peace consciously. In “Joy” we awaken to the sound of laughter and birdsong, and find ourselves rooted in the beauty and simplicity of the good around and within us. In “Rain Song” we forgive and release the effort of holding ourselves separate from life; “Healing Prayer”, augmented by a friend’s healing intent, reaches multidimensionally to gently vibrate loose and sweep away the pain that binds. “Hot Cup of Miso on a Rainy Night” stills the daily chatter, cleanses the space and gently lifts spirits. In “New Life” we step in to the light of a new day after a major transition . . . feeling the new places where we meet life now that everything is different. “Safe Passage” meets intensity with direct strength and gentleness, helping to integrate and facilitate great change.
This album is inspired by and dedicated to my beloved friend Dianna Drinkard.
