When I was little, I loved going on camping trips and spending time outdoors with my big family. I heard Mom and Dad say that our country was the most beautiful country on earth. I felt the beauty of Living Nature and it touched me so deeply . . . I suppose it was probably the same thing that moved them to say such a thing that they couldn’t possibly know, since they’d never traveled outside the U.S. And yet, when I grew up and traveled to other countries, I discovered that there are many flavors, shapes, sights and sounds of Beautiful . . . and all under the same spacious skies that enfold our beloved planet.
This Independence Day I’m celebrating with a song that gives voice to an integration of our global mind. This song is to the tune of “America the Beautiful” . . . I hope you enjoy it and sing along!
